Writers’ Festival
Australia’s much loved celebration of writing and ideas, Sydney Writers’ Festival, is returning to Mosman for the second year in a row with the special presentation of an author talk on Barry O’Keefe Library’s big screen.
Award-winning author and proud member of the Wiradjuri Nation of Central NSW, Anita Heiss, discusses her latest novel, Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray (River of Dreams), via this special live-streamed discussion from the State Library of NSW.
Based on true events, it is an enthralling portrayal of love, loss and belonging on Wiradjuri country by the Murrumbidgee River – where dreams are either made or broken.
Pre-paid $5 online bookings are essential via trybooking.com/BOVPF to view the talk at Barry O’Keefe Library on Wednesday 28 April from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
