Chatty Chair returns to Square
An initiative designed to build social connections has returned to Mosman Square, following its successful pilot.
The Chatty Chair is a dedicated bench, signposted to encourage community members to take a seat, have a chat, and meet new people who are sitting there or wish to join a conversation.
The project was piloted during Mental Health Month and following positive community feedback, has returned to the Square.
It’s a joint initiative of Mosman Council, Chatty Café, Mosman Chamber of Commerce and social enterprise One Another.
The project also includes Chatty Café venues in Mosman, at local businesses, venues and Council facilities including the Mosman Square Seniors Centre and Bary O’Keefe Library.
Businesses, venues and volunteers can register to participate: chattycafeaustralia.org.au.
