General Manager appointed
Council has announced the appointment of experienced local government professional Craig Covich as its new General Manager.
With more than 20 years of experience in the local government sector, serving in senior leadership roles and across a variety of operations at Mosman, Mr Covich brings a strong skillset to manage the challenges and opportunities the sector and the local area will face into the future.
He has a wealth of experience across a wide range of services including planning and development, environmental services, capital works projects and strategic financial management.
Mr Covich was previously Mosman Council’s Director Environment and Planning and had served as Acting General Manager since 2 July 2025 following the retirement of Dominic Johnson after nine years at the helm.
Mr Covich has commenced a five-year performance-based contract.
