Pavilion takes shape
Significant progress has been made on the Allan Border Oval Pavilion upgrade, with the new-look building taking shape.
Solar panels are being installed on the new roof.
The framework for walls and windows is well under way, alongside a range of other concrete and mechanical works and the preparation of services such as plumbing and electrical.
The project will deliver an improved sporting and community facility, with a pavilion and grandstand that includes change and scorers’ rooms, public toilets, storage spaces, a kiosk, kitchen, function room and accessible lift.
Outside, a barbecue and practice netball/basketball court will be set in landscaped surrounds.
Construction is expected to be complete in April 2024.
