The final weekend of the festival included many exciting events.
On Friday evening, the community embraced the Halloween spirit in creative and festive ways across the suburb and enjoyed some Halloween-themed entertainment in Mosman Village Green, before a scheduled outdoor movie screening was unfortunately cancelled due to rain.
On Saturday, the ever-popular Mosman Market brought Mosman Square and Village Green to life with a bustling array of gourmet food, artisan goods, and live music. Visitors enjoyed a wide selection of culinary delights and offered an early opportunity for Christmas shopping, with handcrafted ceramics, leather accessories, pet products, and unique gifts from local makers, all set to the backdrop of live musical performances.
That evening, Sunset, Songs & Stories at Headland Park provided a moving tribute to the annual humpback whale migration and a deeper connection to Country. This outdoor celebration of art, music, and culture featured a spectacular illuminated whale puppet procession by Curious Legends, live sand painting by First Nations artist Walangari Karntawarra, a Bush to Bowl tasting experience, and hands-on activities including a Wiradjuri weaving workshop and rock painting. The event was made even more special by the stunning natural setting, thanks to the support of the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust.
The festival concluded on Sunday with the much-loved Pet’s Day Out at Mosman Village Green – a joyful celebration of pets and their owners. Highlights included pet-friendly competitions such as a fur fashion parade, a petting zoo, reptile displays, themed market stalls, and even an appearance by a unicorn, much to the delight of younger attendees.
